B'nai B'rith Housing New England is a Massachusetts not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to produce non-sectarian housing, both affordable and mixed income, and to ease the housing crisis, particularly in the communities of Greater Boston.
The organization is committed to creating housing of the highest quality - including apartments, condominiums and single family homes. We work to enhance the quality of life locally by creating housing in communities that have short supply. We are determined to expand the supply of housing for seniors, young families and those in need.
A Collaborative Effort
A regionally-based, non-profit housing development corporation, B'nai B'rith Housing New England is built on the success of the B'nai B'rith New England Realty Unit and the B'nai B'rith Senior Citizens Housing Corporation. Ours is a long and rich tradition of building community, and at the core of our mission is to create places where individuals and families live safe, happy and productive lives.
Who We Are
It is well understood that New England, and Greater Boston in particular, is one of the most difficult areas in which to develop housing. Our success in an area where many have failed begins with the work of talented individuals. Our professional staff, Board of Directors, and development team consist of some of the most experienced professionals in the industry and provide B'nai B'rith Housing New England with its strong local base. Our relationships with local, state, regional and national agencies and funders, as well as with affordable housing leaders, are perhaps without equal within Greater Boston.

The organization's goal is to maximize the vision, talents and expertise of all its volunteer members. Acting out of their values and ideals, these committed individuals combine their resources, expertise and proven track records to help B'nai B'rith Housing New England achieve even greater production of affordable housing and related services.
B'nai B'rith New England Realty Unit
B'nai B'rith Housing New England is affiliated with the New England Realty Unit of B'nai B'rith International, the world's oldest and largest Jewish humanitarian organization. For over 165 years, B'nai B'rith has contributed to housing and social policy, Jewish identity and community action. It has been a leader in humanitarian efforts both at home and in 58 countries abroad.
The Realty Unit was founded as a networking organization to create a community of Jewish professionals and practitioners in the real estate industry who wanted to enhance their professional skills and give back to the larger community. Educational programs and social networking events make this the singular organization for current and future Jewish leaders in the real estate industry.
Other B'nai B'rith affiliated groups in the Greater Boston area include the B'nai B'rith New England Sports Lodge and the B'nai B'rith Peabody/Beverly lodge.
